Kids should really learn martial arts for the discipline, the hard work, the ability to work with other people, learning how to get along...the best thing anyone can teach kids is patience and control of their own ego...It's always about de-escalating and empathy. Its about treating people as humans even when they're not treating you as a human...its all about empathy

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. We include the ARTS so STEM becomes STEAM. These are concepts we use everday. They are all around us when we cook, go shopping, explore, make experiments, build things, visit museums, even play. Making STEAM interesting for kids at a young age can help with success later in life.

Is "Nature Deficit Disorder" really a thing? What we know for sure is that kids spend as much as 7 hours a day inside, in front of a screen and 4 to 7 minutes in unstructured play outdoors. Studies show that kids who play outside are smarter, happier, more attentive and less anxious than kids who spend more time indoors. It is clear nature is good for kids' minds. It builds confidence, promotes creativity and imagination, makes kids think and so much more.

The first place kids learn social skills is at home. As parents or guardians, modeling positive social skills includes showing confidence in ourselves when we relate to others, being friendly to strangers, offering help to others, and treating our kids with respect. It is important for kids to learn consideration for others. Do not allow our kids to intentionally or unintentionally disrespect another person.
